By land, water or air
Land, water, air – the mercedes star that marks the production of the A-class model in Rastatt and the truck manufactoring plant near Karlsruhe symbolizes these three traffic routes. They also give an indication of the excellent traffic network connections Achern is linked to.
The business park is located at the edge of the inner city of Achern only a few minutes walking distance from the ‘German Railway’ and bus station and the public transport systems that connect Offenburg, the Acher-Renchtal valley area, Baden-Baden and Karlsruhe.
Long distance traffic
Baden-Baden, Offenburg and Strasbourg offer long distance train connections. Most important business centres such as Karlruhe, Mannheim/Heidelberg, Stuttgart, Frankfurt/Main, Cologne/Düsseldorf,Munich, Basel or Paris can be reached within a few hours. (see table)
The highway A5 (Basel – Frankfurt) is only three minutes from the business park. It takes a driver swifly and directly to all European commercial centres.
Swift air travel
The airport KA/BAD (Karlsruhe-Baden) can be reached within thirty minutes. It offers flights to all parts of the world. In addition, the international airports of Basel, Strasbourg, Stuttgart and Frankfurt are in easy reach of the business park.
Rhine as transport option
The river is only a few kilometres away from Achern and the business park. The Rhine, one of the most significant waterways in Europa, offers a competitive transport option to all major cities between Rotterdam and Basel. The ports of Kehl and Karlsruhe, for example, offer an enterprising turnover of merchandise.
